This included the preparation of manloading requirements, construction schedules, equipment and material requirements, and erection methods.  Maintained liaison with on-site personnel in regard to cost and schedule performance.
1978 - 1979 Newport News Industrial Corporation (subsidiary of Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company) Construction Superintendent Direct supervision of various trade union personnel for fabrication and construction of a commercial nuclear power plant.  Responsibilities included piping and machinery system and structural steel installations.
1980 - 1981 Newport News Industrial Corporation (subsidiary of Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company) Project Manager Staff Cost and schedule adjustments for delay, disruption, acceleration, and scope changes for the Containment, Structural Steel and Fuel Pool contracts at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Duties included identification and estimation of changes, performance of cause and effect delay analyses, and disruption and loss of productivity analyses.
1981 - 1989 Independent Consultant (primarily through C. L. Willis, and Associates) Consultant Contract analysis, identification and quantification of contract impacting events (formal and constructive changes), schedule and disruption analysis and quantification, and integrated claims preparation.
1984 - 1985 Management Associates Principal Consultant Contract analysis, identification and quantification of contract impacting events (formal and constructive changes), schedule and disruption analysis and quantification, and integrated claims preparation.  Preparation of Prudence Cost Analysis for two commercial nuclear facilities.
